Relay For Life of Western Berks

Relay For Life began in Tacoma, WA in 1985 when Dr. Gordie Klatt ran around the track at the University of Puget Sound for 24 hours, raising more than $27,000 for the fight against cancer. From there grew the American Cancer Society's nationwide signature fundraising event, Relay For Life.

Each year, over 5200 Relay For Life events take place across the United States. The Relay For Life of Western Berks began in 2004 and has since grown to be the 12th largest event in the East Central Division (PA & OH). Cumulatively, the event has raised over $1 million dollars toward the fight against cancer. Monies raised by Relay For Life fund patient programs, services and cancer research. Jimmy and the Parrots - Paint the Parrot Purple Party

Dust off your flip-flops and cure those mid-winter blues with a night of music, boat drinks and tropical fun!!!! Jimmy and the Parrots are one of the most requested Jimmy Buffett tribute bands in the country! They perform all the great Buffett songs you love, new and classic rock 'n roll, as well as outstanding original tunes written by lead singer/guitarist Jimmy Maraventano.

Doors open 6 PM, music begins at 7 PM. Ticket price includes draft beer and soda. Cash bar and drink specials available throughout the night! Hungry? Cheeseburger in Paradise Bar from 8:30 - 10 pm.
